Nice capture. Getting birds with their wings up like that when they're only stretching or drying themselves isn't easy. I'm guessing you used a high speed to get it this clean with the minmium of movement blur? Heh. At any rate, still impressed I am, even down here in Southern Afica. Well done.

In my book this is a bad wing-pose, I think I have better ones somewhere. I remember I have a goose fly-by.

I try to post two pics per day, a lesser one (people find bird and inanimate pics less interesting) and a better one (mmm cute mammals).

Ah well, it's all a matter of interpretation really. At any rate, yes, I've noticed myself that birds don't get looked as often as say, a kitten or something. At any rate, don't get discouraged and don't beat yourself up too much if frames don't turn out the way they were expected. After all, you gotta gamble when it comes to nature photography.

OK, now I sound creepy. ^^. Just keep doing what you do and enjoy yourself doing it too. I'll be quiet now.

Thanks, some days I try real hard and lately the photography hasn't gone so well. Many rainy days over here, cant' get wet sqrl pics coz they too clever to get wet.
