I get the image of an isolated character, maybe a prisoner or something, trapped indoors but hearing the sounds from outside and wanting so desperately to be out there, with the sounds.

That desperation is portrayed so well, I'm not sure if that was what you intended but I feel it in the extreme stretching of the wrist and hand.

I'm loving this piece.

I don't know of a proper english word but buitengeluid means sounds from ouside like cars,birds,rain etc.
