Description
Here's the Red Ranger of the mini Sentai. With a stop light, I was thinking he could be stubborn and often stops his fellow teammates to think out a plan before attacking (Notice the stop signal with the hand in the picture). He gets along with both of his teammates well, but easily gets frustrated when they fight amongst themselves.The main story behind this Sentai is the human population has been making various technological advances and an evil alien force takes notice. Understanding how they could become more powerful, they plan to take over (standard run of the mill invasion), but the previous population the aliens took over had a few survivors that want to stop the aliens, so they travel to Earth and help a group of defenders with their technology in the form of ranger powers. Liking the idea of motor vehicles, the survivors make the powers vehicle-based and thus this new team is born.

Traffic light inspired sentai? That's an interesting concept. I like how you based his personality off the idea of stopping (i.e. the red light) and how you drew his hand (which I initially didn't notice until you mentioned it)

Thanks! It's been a "I wonder how far I can take this idea" concept and even though I didn't have to work too hard on the personalities, I think it's unique enough to work.

Yeah I agree. The colour choices alone are unique in my eyes.
And following on from my suggestion for Green Drive, how about giving Red the ability to stop someone in their tracks with his beam. It would only last for say a few seconds, maybe needs a few minutes re-charge and there is a possibility people can "ignore" it (like when people ignore red lights).

To be honest, I'm surprised there hasn't been a Sentai based off of the traffic lights.
I'm liking that idea. Seeing as the ranger powers are alien based, it makes sense that the rangers could have some superhuman abilities as well. Thanks for the idea!

I guess it's because there isn't a blue light they could make the usual three with. Plus it is a unique spin on car rangers that I don't think had been considered before.

So I've got the next two Drive Rangers planned out and they consist of Orange and Blue (I like the complementary color concept for it). I'm thinking since the evil aliens destroy planets, these two could have been from the past destroyed planet and were the chosen Rangers similar to the three Earth Rangers. Vehicles could be based upon spaceships or something similar to a flying vessel.
That being said, I'm tweaking your idea you gave me and making that a White Ranger with possible red accents with the blue light motif some how. Also, a Black Ranger based off of a jet plane is in the mix too.

In that case I'm interested in seeing what the orange and blue ranger's looks and personalities are like. I'm not familiar with any coloured lights/control system for air travel so I'm not sure what significance those colours will have.
