I kind of see this happening in any instance where the Professor is killed, like a home-invasion-robbery gone wrong while the girls are out. When they return home and find their father dead, they are heartbroken, and things split from here. Either they are lost in grief and, once word reaches Mojo, he comes to the triplets in the name of family and they join him, Mojo taking the lead in their first family activity of finding the Professor's murderer for some family revenge. Or the girls go out, find this person, and kill them first in grief-fueled rage, making the people of Townsville afraid of them and suddenly wanting them gone from their city, then Mojo later finds the girls at their home and convinces them to join him in the name of family, having shared their feelings and desires and thus doesn't blame them for the murder they committed.
In any case, a good depiction of how this turning event would go. Excellent work.
