Hello fromΒ ProjectComment ! What a great art piece. The shading is great done: it can beΒ recognised that the light is comming fom the up, right part. The proportions are well done and they give a nice three dimensional effect. Your draw is very ditaled,Β which is the best part on an art piece because the viewer get never bored while looking at it. I interpret this drawing as the time is stopping because of the pain of the person who is writting the letter. Anyway this is just my interpretion. The only thing I can't understand is why the 6 isn't on the watch. Maybe this is your intention?
Anyway, great draw, keep working :3

thanks very much!Β I think interpretations are to each his own with a plausible reason: )
There is no six, because I didn't "invent" the watch and the original had no six, because the field for the seconds covered the six^^

Hi! What a lovely piece of art I see here. I like how you put a lot of effort to make it look realistic, I like the bold shading, sharp lightening and the contrast you create, you have a wide gray scale, it's good. I like the composition although it's simple. I like the atmosphere, I don't know why but I want to use the word vintage here and I think this atmosphere reflect in the medium you used - traditional art - pencil. Your piece is open to interpretations I suppose,Β you can see the time passing - in the broken glass and creased paper - maybe a letter?Β I think you could diversify a bit more the lines you used to shade the watch and the paper because these surfaces looks a little bit too similar if you know what I mean. Also, I am wondering why there is no number 6 in the watch? But I guess it's supposed to be like this. Β Ok, I have nothing to pick on.Β
All in all, I like the theme, atmosphere and shading, I also like how it's similar to your violin and focus pieces. Keep up with your great work!

I love the shading! The shading on the crumple effect is really good. It looks realistic, I actually thought it really was crumpled. For the clock, I love the lighting for it. The top of the clock is a bit off, and the letters aren't very visible.

The time it much have took to do this piece makes it phenomenal. All the shading and distinct details make this piece interesting and unique. I like the interesting writing on the sheet of crumpled paper. The sign that the clock is broken is something that looks like a long time has passed. Great job!
