Description This is my addition to the substantial gallery of fanart of the lovely Susan Coffey.
I think it worked out pretty well.

HP A4 paper from the printer at work. I used mechanical pencils (0.5mm) HB B and 2B. Normal pencils 4B and 5B and some 6B for the edge. Took me somewhere in the region of 12 to 15 hrs.

hope you like it

BTW reference: [link] It was a pleasure drawing this!

I could point out some mistakes, but it's wonderful. I almost thought it was a charcoal. KIU

Feel free to comment on my shortcommings. Overall I kinda rushed the right side of the drawing.

Okay um I am not the best and all but I learn from my mom and my mistakes as she is an artist. In my opinion, her left arm looks a little bigger than what it's supposed to be since you drew her face smaller than original and the shading on it makes it seem the source of light isn't coming from the up-right as it was intended to, but rather more from the center of the drawing. If you look close enough the structure of her arm and back differs from the actual one. The wrinkles on her finger, you have to show them other wise you will have a drawing rendered as incomplete. Other than that I love it I'll be uploading some of my work and I hope you can drop by and critique on them because you seem to have more skill than I do.

OHHHHHH THATS why the hand looks creepy... sometimes you need someone elses perspective. It really sucks that the drawing is done on (relatively) cheap ass printerpaper. So it probably couldnt have taken the beating of rendering the fingers (just justifieng my failures ). And thx about the light, really made me look again at how I work with light.

Yeah thats true. Haha you should buy a drawing book or something or your work will go to waste :/ . Anytime and I can't wait to see your A3 work, good luck.

What kind of book should I get?? coz I have lots of books about drawing but they're all sheit! Its all like this technique and that technique and they're all basic...
I'll pay a visit to my local art supply store. (but schoolbooks come first )

Umm no i meant it as in a sketch book to draw on rather than using printer paper, but if you want a drawing book you should search a book of nude. They are somewhat useful but I lost mine and don't remember its name.Haha same here
