His profession relies on his talent but he is most well known for his jewelry making, taking pride in his handcrafted wares. He has a variety of skills in the arts area including sculpting, painting, metal-craft, calligraphy, silk-making, embroidery, sewing and other minor things he dabbles in

Designing- with all those skills as an artist, designing things is a must! Vixen manages to find many ways to find aesthetically pleasing objects, being it arranging flowers, templating patterns, designing clothing/decorations, and other pleasing things.

Plant Cultivating- the first thing you will notice about Vixen's home is the mass amount of flowers and plants littering the small clearing--in fact, you would thing the field was naturally there at first glance. However the plants are not native to the area, Poppies and healing herbs hidden among the pigment rich petals used for paints, and all are meticulously cared for. behind his home are groves of mulberry trees that he uses to keep his silk worms fed, along with a few consumable flora and fauna.

Personality:Vixen is neither an overly cruel, or extremely naive person. At first glance, he seems elegant; graceful in both his movements and carriage. Dig a bit deeper and you will find he is vain, conceited, and showy; flirting endlessly with his clientele

He is fair and professional in his mannerisms--as long as you treat him with equal respect--despite his flirting. Any favor will never go unrewarded and any misdemeanors will be struck down with a vengeful wrath. Antagonistic, he loves to harass and tease others, heckling and poking at their faults or actions to get a rise out of his victims customers. He's quick to anger and easy to upset, and is often times seen sulking like a child in the confines of his home.

His aquaintences are countless, but his friends are few; if you can befriend the fox you will find he's immensely loyal and --one can even argue-- doting. Despite his somewhat prickly nature, he seems to enjoy making people feel good and tending to them, be it making them feel confident in how they look (with his wares, of course!), tending to injuries/sickness, or in general; cooking for the hungry (though..his taste in food is questionable), or listening and giving sage advice. He's got an ear for gossip, yet secrets are well kept and he can be enjoyable to talk to--if you can hold his attention.

The platinum fox is also a notorius multitasker and will almost inevitably be seen doing a variety of tasks at once. he often seems very distracted, but he really is listening! ...however the real issue would be does he care about what you're speaking of.

He also seems a bit agoraphobic and somewhat of an insomniac. He is rarely seen outside of his home save for the times he's tending to his plants, and its even rarer to see him away from his house. one could argue he's OCD as he will work for days without sleep before crashing

History:
Once upon a time, there was a male platinum fox-kitsune by the name of Vereli who had many friends and admirers. he was young, attractive, charming and pleasingly witty--if not a bit of a playboy and flirt. In his 18th year, a younger kit--3 years his junior-- appeared by the name of Zephyr. The kit was exotically marked, petite with an cold air of enchanting charm that soon captured Ver's attention. Ver was known for his romps with young vixens, but could not help but want to tease and flirt with the childish beauty that was Zephyr, despite them both being male. It had started as nothing but a game to see the child flustered; stolen kisses and playful gropes coupled with suggestive comments to break the stoic child's mask.

It had started as a game, but it was not long before Ver found himself receiving far more than he gambled for. The flustered child's reactions changed over time, changing to be more accepting and almost teasing on his own.

The pretty young zephyr did not stay little for long, surpassing Vereli in both size and strength. what had once been a game became a predatory battle, and the original hunter became the hunted...though this new hunter was not with such playful intentions as its predecessor. Zephyr's stoic demeanor and previous childish features hid his dark personality, and Vereli was captured.

Zephyr had taken his prey and renamed it "Vixen." And Vixen was molded to fit his owner's tastes. No longer was the talented, social, promiscuous butterfly named Vereli...instead, in his place stood the eternally devoted Vixen, who waits forever in his shop for his owner to return.

And so it's been, for 14 years.

Vixen has meticulously cared and tended to his shop at the edge of Illusion Woods in which he sells his wares. his jewelry is delicate and beautiful, prized for its beauty and well known for its unique make. Vixen takes the fallen silk moths from his breeding brood and carefully replicates other butterfly or insect wings, painting over the delicate pieces and strengthening them with careful glazing and apliquing. he also makes his own silk and pottery, even dabbling in clay and ceramic figurines.

He does NOT tell people his proper name. If you know him as Vel, Vere, Veli or by his former name, you are most likely older than him, and he severely loathes you existence. He is known to all as Vixen now.
Vixen's ears cannot stand up properly like a normal fox. the cartilage at the base of the appendages has been severely damaged along with the connecting muscles. at most, he can somewhat flick them back or forward, but never are they seen raised above his head.

The poppy-field outside of his home is not simply for show. Vixen is a HEAVY cultivator, user, and seller of opium.
hurt his silk worms and he will KILL you. His silk babies are very precious to him, and even if he boils them alive while they are in their cocoons to retrieve the silk, he farms them carefully and they are extremely well cared for.

He does not own a bed. after locking up the shop, he may curl up on a couch to sleep. there have also been times of him sleeping on the foor with pillows.
His defensive weapons of choice are metal needles and a small knife he keeps on his person. the needles are hidden in various places around his shop and home.

He paints on himself. A LOT. when he gets bored or needs something to keep himself preoccupied he may paint his skin. his skin is actually unmarked by tattoos of any sort and it is often seen covered with designs.
