Updated Amanda with an updated version of *the* outfit.Comments on the changes are welcome. Again I have used the UberEnvironment2 light set which gives her a slightly different look. I think she looks fine under both sets of lights, this and the old set.

Oh gosh, I need to just repeat every compliment from my comment on the last image I just looked at. This is my imagination brought to life, or as close as I've ever seen her portrayed. I tried creating my perfect heroine in Second Life and she is so close to this.
The details of shot angle and body positioning you do so well. The tilt of her head, position of her shoulders, arms, hips, hands, legs, they all express who she is and make her seem alive to me. I sense her confidence, determination, and bravery, yet maybe a playfulness or sense of humor or sassy attitude that somehow combines with an innocence or vulnerability or femininity.
Then again, it may all be my overactive imagination getting too excited at seeing my ideal heroine come to life. Hope you'll forgive my effusive praise, but I think you deserve it.

I'm curious about something, if you don't mind me asking. Why haven't you migrated to newer versions of DAZ and the newer Genesis models? I'm just curious if it's a conscious decision to avoid them or what your reasons are, not that I think there is anything wrong with why you haven't.
I'm trying really hard to be politically correct and not to offend; is that obvious?

It should first be understood, that Daz Studio 3 is a wonderful piece of software. It's free, stable, clean and usable, and allows use of Daz and Poser content - and there is LOADS out there. The problem is, though it was a very successful tool, it didn't make Daz3d any money if people installed it and just used Poser content they got off free sites.
Daz Studio 4 exists for one purpose only - to kill Poser and establish Daz3D as a virtual monopolist. It's a horrible, slow, clunky unfriendly program and the 'user experience' transitioning from DS3 is hideous. They basically want you to start all over again, stop using Poser content, and re-buy everything from Daz3d.com's shop. They created new models (Genesis) that only worked properly in their program and required you to buy all new clothes and hair, plus use their installer for a really nice smooth experience.
If you never used DS3, if you started from scratch, and you have plenty of money to buy everything from a fresh start, DS4 is OK.
If you used DS3, if you have a big runtime of stuff all nicely working and arranged how you want it, the migration process is hideous, the new interface is clunky, getting your old Poser content to work is hell, and for what? DS4 offers only two real exclusive benefits. Genesis and iRay.
Genesis might appeal to me if they stuck with one model and didn't keep dumping it every year and making a new one. I mean seriously, where am I supposed to start. Genesis 1, 2, 3? I really don't see what the technical benefits are either. Victoria 4 has a vast range of clothing and some superb after-market fix morphs. All my characters are V4 and if I was using DS4 I would just be using V4 anyway.
iRay seems to be a nice render engine but I like renders I can do in under a minute, not 15-30 minutes. Some people are getting decent results out of it but honestly the quality of your render engine is not everything. A boring, poorly lit picture with ugly characters will look just as crap in iRay as it will in 3Delight.
Hope that answers your question. I will upgrade to a new 3D program when it gives me things I actually need, that is to say gravity based dynamic hair, dynamic flesh with a collision engine, and reality based lighting that doesn't take hours to calculate.

Better and better. You've stayed with the hair behind the ears which is a completely different vibe and I like it. A bit of aggressiveness. You've changed how her shirt lays and I like this better. It's smoother across her skin (smoother yet above her bust line would be great-the difference between how fabric actually lays versus wrinkles, which this girl would not allow in her clothing) and still shows a little outline of a flaccid nipple. -Which is something she might allow if she was going out 'hunting.' I REALLY like how you've changed the knot. It looks as though a little tug would open it up which is flirty and sexy. As usual, you sculpt her tummy and shoulders and ribcage perfectly. The blemishes in her cleavage are exactly how they should be. Finally, I really like her expression. It shows more confidence. She knows she looks good. As for the lighting, I don't know about those things. I can only tell you that I think this render looks fantastic. Very natural. If this girl walked into the room, I'd keep a close eye on my husband's reaction.
