Description this was a very huge work for me, but I am happy of how it came out.

* EXPLAINATION*

For I am a student of Medieval History at University, I hope I have been fairly accurate.

Will:   I put upon her head a crown, juts to signify that she's the leader, as you know. In the original design, she wears a purple top with long and jagged sleeves; I turned it into something more medieval-ish, trying to mantain the "wavy" sleeves. All her outfit is very noble and elegant. I turned the symbol of her element into "medieval-look-like-arabesques".
She brings the Heart of Kandrakar which I tried to trasform into a medieval jewel.

Irma: In the comic, she wears a tight jersey with long sleeves. I added some puffy epaulettes, and decorated them with the symbol of her element. Hairstyle is quite random, I can say I just wanted to use a XIV century's headdress, so that's it.

Taranee: If she was the one I liked less in the lineart, she's actually the one I like the most now. The hairstyle wants to be the medieval mold of her original one: in the comic she has sort of a hundred of little braids (I've always wondered what they actually are), so here I collected her hair into a bun, with this Middle-Age typical decoration. She also has a big braid up her forehead, just to remind that she should have braids.
In the comic she is the only one who wears pants, so I styled her in a more "masculine" way: striped leotard and a leather waistcoat. Obviously I used purple shades for the top, and green shades for the bottom.

Cornelia: when I thought about her in the Middle Age, I immediatly had the vision of how she had to be dressed. I like the way I found to turn her original jersey + skirt into a only piece dress. The headpiece is so fashion and make me think she would be a noble lady with a lot of class.
Actually, she was the one with the biggest hopes for the coloring, but I don't like how it came out. She has something missing, but I can't find what.

Hay Lin: Aww, I like her pose. In the matter of the dressing: I wanted to make her seem original, as she is in the comic. She would totally wear pastel colors and singular hairstyle. About her hair: initially I wanted to style her with a very long "herringbone" braid, but then I missed the two pigtails; The result is quite odd but I like it! C:

I'll write this as a critique  :

There is a real sense of hard work and originality within this piece. From the way you've described each character and how you envisioned them to be in the medieval ages, you've definitely done your research!  I love how you incorporated the 'symbols' of each of their elements in the background: it gives it that feel of being a historic piece, like a folklore tales of how the first W.I.T.C.H group discovered their powers, came together and overthrew the power of darkness. I can imagine it as a grandmother telling her grandchildren about it. Another aspect I must complement you on is how you drew the clothes accurately; folds,creases and everything! Escpecially in how you've chosen your outfits for each character suits their element and personality perfectly The only aspects that I say would need improving is how you draw hands. Everyone else's is fine apart from Irma's. Apart from that, you should be proud of this piece. Definitely one of the best original W.I.T.C.H artworks I've ever seen.

Such an original concept. I love how you could adapt them so well. And my personal favourite seems to be conrnelia here: she seems just in her place. Like, I would not have a doubt it´s were she belongs in that era, how she would look.
