A real red fox skull that I carved and painted. The jaws are tied on with waxed linen thread and have mother of pearl nugget shell and glass beads. Missing one upper incisor and the canines on the left side are split but are in no danger of coming apart or falling out (unless you, say, use the skull for tennis practice, lol)Not for sale (I love it... a lot)

Also, I am interested in doing a commission. I would like to use a wolf skull from a wolf a trapped. I would like it to look like this fox skull, but heavy on the outdoorsy feel. The oak leaves are perfect. How long will it take you, and should I process the skull first, or do you prefer to boil and bleach them yourself? Β

I've actually had this little fox skull for so long that I might keep it. It's probably the first work that really got me rolling in this type of art. But I definitely am interested in doing a commission for you. Perhaps we could trade my work for a wolf skull? If you have two available, of course. And I don't mind if you clean them yourself

This is so unbelievably beautiful. I am a trapper from Northern Minnesota. I was wondering if you would be interested in doing some trading for a finished product, for some raw materials. I have skulls from just about every animal imaginable. To be honest I have more than I know what to do with. Usually I just throw them back into the woods. Currently I have timber wolf, coyote, porcupine, skunk, beaver (as many as you would like), bobcat, fisher, otter, pine marten, fox, raccoon, deer, moose, muskrat and some large raptors. If you are looking for a particular skull I can always target that species for you. Let me know if you are interested, and keep up the amazing work!

Pretty good actually! I've sold a ton of my painted skulls on there and gotten commissions for more. Plus I sell off all my extra dead stuff and pieces I decide I don't need anymore.
