Were you that kid who would sit on the floor of the bookstore with the newest Where's Waldo book open in your lap? LoL

If you just wanted to add paws for aesthetics, that would be a heck of a lot easier than adding them to a soft mount. You could pretty much just sew them right where the limbs exit the body on your foxes (just above the elbows in front and midway between the hip and ankle in the rear). If you sewed it on a little crooked, it wouldn't matter much, since your goal is not to make it 'act' like a real leg. Does that make sense? The join between body and donor paw will usually just be hidden in the folds. You also wouldn't have to worry about making all the legs the EXACT same length either. Okay. I'll be quiet now...

Do you know who Zhon is? She has done some really cool paws, like these: In fact, this is one of the pictures that made me decide to try my hand at making a skull critter.

They're all wallhangers. But I'd actually love to make an actual skull fox mount in my style. Someday!

Well, heck, just buy yourself some paws and sew them on! The tricky part, of course, is getting the colors to match. For Sammy, I just bought two red fox rear paws (by far the most common paws for sale) and dyed them a uniform black. I use Revlon 'color silk' dye for human hair. I bought the 2 front paws (already a natural black) from Kirin-Hunter. Solid black paws can work on a silver, red-colored, or cross fox. If you ever want to try this, just let me know. It is not incredibly difficult to add donor paws, but it IS tedious and time consuming, and involves quite a bit of sewing- which I know you just LOVE to do!
