Description
Design for a fantasy mask project in Visualization Process class...basically, your piece is supposed to contain a specific set of shapes (sphere, half-sphere, straps, concave + convex dimensions, visible textures, etc.) and correspond to a specific aesthetic or theme. STEAMPUNK! (only not pushed very far, because then I would want to kill myself. XD)Initial concept, here; the full piece should probably be in better perspective. >.>

Hahaha I kinda figured you were one anyhow but your work, although I hate how it's called "steampunk" it's honestly such a retarded word....I prefer to be known as a Victorian Revisionist or something like that. I'm working towards a pair of hand made goggles for shits and giggles...gawd I need my fuckin camera fixed, it's been dead since like June. *cries*

i like this design and think it achieves the purpose-built yet identifiable technological look of steampunk, yet it's still open to interpretation as to who wears it
the pincers at first made me think 'miner', like an ant or a beetle gathering and moving resources. but it could be suited for a warrior, too
your other ideas are cool, too, but i think this one is the most truthful to the idea
so, what are you doing for the 'full' work?

Plus, the whole thing should be all...drafted in perspective. And then classically lit. And texturized.

And yes. I love steampunk. O_o Rather too much to be logical, considering it's based entirely around building functional devices using the blueprint of a time period that never actually happened. >.>
