Jelunar
During the day, they lazily float around in the sea. At night they rise out of the sea. They cause all sorts of trouble due to their large numbers. They are afraid of Sola Sola's light. [link]

Is is based on a literal moon jellyfish. It is partly inspired by Nurarihyon from Japanese mythology. I got the idea of them gathering in large numbers and causing problems from jellyfish blooms. Their fear of Sola Sola comes from Sunfish feeding on jellyfish.
