i drew this one last year, i actually did want to get it done on my lower back but at this point in the drawing i realised that it would be a huge monstrosity on my skin and didn't actually want it.
it started off with the eyes, they're hard to see, but the green/blue parts are the pupils. i like tribal designs and tried to make it tribal on my own (not sure if it worked). i do like the lotus though. i drew this entire thing by hand. i drew the outlines of the eyes frist, and then drew only the inner eye part and the tribal part on the right. i traced them when i was done and flipped it over to draw the left side. there is no way i could have done the left side without it being traced. then i added the lotus.
