Having read this gives me a fantastic imagination insight of the past.
I'm really enjoying reading the team's take on Sentinel Prime and giving him more an in depth storyline.
Always love to see JT's brilliant artwork on Transformers his ability to adapt from a original character design to his own style is amazing.
The colouring in is very nicely done gives me a good feeling to the story.
And the lettering is very good.

This is really superb, we haven't seen a Mosaic of THIS quality in a while. (No offense to everyone else's pieces, but this is just one of those special times when everything just meshes.)
The art is great. The dialogue is interesting and the concept very weighty. And I love that War Within homage in the vision.

Wow not bad at all! It seems to be following in with some of the previous Mosaics. Certainly paints Sentinel in a spiritually enlightened and kind light. Megatron: Origins made him seem far more an "OBEY!!!" type individual. Still, very cool.

It's more "The War Within" concepts, that's why Sentinel is a philosopher.

For this plot, as well as the full comic project, I had in mind the sad fate of Rodimus Prime in G1 Marvel UK comics: do you remember those bw short stories where he had become the living vessel for Unicron's evil essence?
It sounded like the Matrix had chosen him to be a sacrificial lamb for the good of the universe... that's why I used the "Chosen One" motto as a title.

The story idea and the art are both excellent (this guy should be drawing comics professionally, and the colours are superb too), but I must say that the actual execution of the dialogue and exposition feels a little bit too forced, too rushed. I think a few more panels and some more exposition would help this piece greatly.

For once I have to disagree. It doesn't feel rushed to me, it feels very formal... something you would expect between not only a teacher and a pupil, but a leader and a sage.

Well, it could be assumed that the panel showing the vision was supposed to represent Sentinel Prime describing it to Boltax. It would have been a bit redundant to show it AND have Sentinel exposit on it.

Boltax knows more than he can say, and Sentinel's words about "death" and "devasation" are enough for him... in last panel, Boltax proves that he is aware of the dawning Decepticon threat, for istance...

Instant favourite. I really love this strips that leads up to things that happen in the comics! The story is well told and is deep which I like and the art is great. I love the recreation of the classic scene of Sentinel pointing with his last "breath" as it were.
