Rendering in 3DS is slow (well... I DID set the processor usage to 99%)

CPU: Q6600 @3.0 Ghz

I know what you mean, when I did 3DS Max (well first started), I used 1.6 ghz and 512 ram.. it worked but like crap. Then I bought a new comp 2.0 Ghz e2200 but I overclocked it to far and poof . Now I using what you are a Quadcore Q6600 and will never overclock this baby lol... I need more ram 2 gig is just not enough for these programs ...

I have liquid cooling and it runs 30 degrees on max load
And I have 4 gig of Ram (it really does make a difference from 2 gig)

The focal point is fine But have you try to unsaturate it a bit, it might looks nicer, but i think it's fine the way it is right now ^___^

Thank you . I wish I could have had rendered it 3200+ but it would have taken 28 hours lol and I wasn't totally sure what the final outcome (that large) would look like.
