TRDL 2011 Series, No. 40: Iron Man Series – Force Armor [TRDL Redesign]

This contribution to my Iron Man Series was chosen by R3 member Go Dorito: Force, the friendly, and sometimes adversarial, armored figure in the books. I remember the character fondly enough, just based on his use during my youth right when I was really neck deep in Iron Man comics, but looking at it today, it was a good redesign candidate for me. I just wasn’t feeling most of the details or the saturated green and yellow motif. Nods in my redesign to the original include a symmetrically bisected helm, the use of an admittedly darker yellow, and the expression of ribbed panels. Oh, and the chest logo. Otherwise, mostly a fresh start.
