A charcoal portrait of the son of [link]Sorry for the bad quality; it's photographed because I don't want charcoal in my scanner
It's white and black charcoal pencils on A3 brown card. I guess you could call it a detailed sketch.

I don't know how you do it but you always capture so much life in your eyes. It wouldn't even matter how sketchy everything else might be. You always believe the reality of the characters.

I love how charcoal really seems to age a photograph or picture, and yet keep it alive in it's own way.
