Description
Derwent Artists colour pencils. About 4 hours on brown card 1 x 1.5 feet or 30 x 45cms. Alex Michaeletos from the film, Duma. Movie still used as a reference.Edit: Sorry for the double upload. Scanned the image properly so now you have better qualityness :3 It's like, six scans pieced together, so it looks dodgy, but ya know, like, whateva.
Why do you think I drew this scene when I have not seen the movie? n_n
Sorry for the terrible quality. I wanted to photograph the drawing instead of scan it, as scanners tend to pick up stupidly small flaws, reflect differently depending on the treatment of the card due to the varying pressures of the penc... yeah stuff. So anyway stopwhiningnow.

Hey, someone else actually owns that movie! I love this drawing - how his face is in the shade, and the light hits his neck instead - very creative and daring! I've never drawn from a movie still, it must be a challenge...

Oh, I just love how you captured the lighthing of this piece. You were able to convey how natural it was and really pull my eye into it. For some reason it brought back a memory of my dad's and my trips into the interior of BC during the summer time... I am not sure why, but it was a warm and happy memory ^_^

Glad somebody noticed ;D I was surprised at how quickly I was able to do it. I think it's mostly to do with the colour of my card, though. Saved me lots o time~
