Description
The power returned in the Laboratory as the sound of destruction echoed in the warehouse sized facility. Mercy grunting with every thrash of the ax, destroying every last bit of the alien-like construct that was part of Brainiac. It was then the door from outside opened and 3 figures walked towards her.

“My God, Mercy! What have you done?” states a shocked Lex Luthor as he looks at the destructive reign of the Amazon like chauffeur.

“What does it look like?! Making sure ole Pinball head never comes back!” she replies angrily.

“Are you mad?! We could have learned so much from this!”

“Lex! That freaked nearly turned us into Giga-quads of information!”

“But we had access to alien technology we could use in the future, and now it's all gone!”

Mercy smirked at him as she walked over to a still intact console, and pulls out a module from the unit. “You didn't think I would make protected backups Lex, now would you?”

Lex's shocked expression turned into a smile as she hands him the hard drive containing all the information initially extracted from Brainiac.

“Um boss, now that power is on, do you think it's smart to stick around here?” asks Rex.

“You’re right. We took that Military vehicle and it probably has GPS tracking. Roy, go get the van, we need to get out of here and fast.” replies Lex.

Moments later, the 4 are in the Van as they made their way through Metropolis traffic and hit the freeway.

“The perfect getaway. We just need to lay low a bit and plot which one of these devices we can use on the Boy Scout and his cousin.” states Lex.

“But boss, don't you think Supergirl will come after us?” asks Roy

Lex glares at the Hard drive as he smirks. “She has no reason to, considering we have covered our tracks pretty well.”

All of a sudden the Van jerked and the hard drive flies out of Lex's grasp and out the window. Lex looks with horror and turns to Mercy.

“Stop the van! Stop the VAN!”

“I...I can't!” she states as she looks in shock out the windshield. Rex and Roy were similarly in shock. Then Lex looks and notices the Van has left the road and was pitching upward over the Metropolis skyline. He then looks out the passenger window to see Supergirl holding the Van with a look of confidence on her face.

“I advise you all to keep your seat belts on.” she says mockingly as she flies the 4 fugitives to the Federal penitentiary.
