There really isn't much to say about this other than ...yeah. It really was that awkward and weird. To have this old guy double back and actually lean into my window to be all "HEY! A FOREIGNER! dawwww" conveyed in his stare and then is all *smile* Man. it was so weird. I just had to chronicle it. ^_^;;EDIT: This happened in Kira on the way back from a class, so in a different town from where I live.

yeah, I don't chronicle all my weird run ins, but this one was particularly...obvious and strange. And he clearly approved of me, he just wanted to get a second look at the FOREIGNER!!! ^_^

heheh, for sure. And a gaijin DRIVING is like OMG she must LIVE here OMG.
No to mention that, as a blonde, they really like me. so it wasn't like a "GO AWAY stare, it was like "dawwww, isn't she a pwetty forwener" (baby talk included ^_^;;; ) which is why I found it surprising, usually I get the "WHOA!" stares more ^_^. It was like he wanted to say hi...but couldn't ^_^;;

heh, I have a short haircut now, but these all happened before I changed my hair, so I'm leaving it long. The height and the eyes will be noticeable, but it's the hair color they go for ^_^

It wasn't creepy, it was just kinda... weird. Like, who really doubles back and then stares blatantly into someone's car? I wasn't insulted or annoyed it was just nothing I ever expected to happen to me ^_^
