So we just moved, and after years living in dorms, and in small apartments, we now have a slightly bigger actual house that we're renting and WHO BOY we are celebrating over some of the smallest upgrades, these being my top 4.
We've had 2 burners for as long as I can remember, and now we have THREE ^_- Our last place had the most COMPLICATED parking lot to get in and out of, tight space, curb half covering our side, a royal pain. Now we have our own driveway and a quiet street to pull out on ^_^ And our own little yard! I mean, it's only as long as our house is wide, and it's like 5 feet across, but it's a YARD. Not to mention, no more laundry machine on the balcony! And I can just set the machine to go while we sleep, and just hang the clothes in the morning!
It's a HUGE time saver. So yes. It's the little things, but I guess that means we'll be easily pleased with this place ^_^

Yeah, I've been living in a dorm or a small apartment for over 11 years now, and even tho we're in a small house now, it seems so much more freeing ^_^ Happy New year to you as well!
