one of the few parts of the game I never liked, so always made sure not to talk to anyone after a certain point or if I did they weren't haloed by pink and doubly make sure i'd pick them up if I could and threw them so their affinity went down.

For me in my Switch playthrough, I gave the Arisen's Band to Selene, and when it came to facing Grigori, MADELEINE showed up!

Ugh! Can't stand when this happens. I do his trial mission to get good prices on ferrystones but keep forgetting this happens. Hilarious comic though. Very well done!

Fit what just happen while making a video for a friend: Male Arisen, going straight gay for Reynard and then Grigori show up F**** Fournival!
But still, it could have end even worst: Aeol-whatever-her-name-is-I-don't-remember-because-she-was-the-most-annoying-character-of-the-game-more-than-the-Jester-and-Valmiro.
Even when I'm gay and I often end with males, I've to admit I really like the end with Mercedes (*COUGH*Casca*COUGH*) and Selene.

For me it was Caxton. Was quite a surprise because I expected Aelinore.

In order to get the beloved YOU WANT you have to max the persons affinity and give them the Arisens bond ring.

Then you have to talk to them before you go to the strong hold where The Leader of Salvation dies.

until i figured out how to get that ring thing, i would sheathe and unsheathe my sword in front of him for about two hours. (unsheathing a weapon infront of people lowers affinity

If Fournival is your beloved you can find him at your house 24/7, is not it's hard to buy stiff from him because if you go near his house in the main city all the guards attack you. I got him on on my last few playthroughs so its easy to get makers fingers easier and kill the online Ur-dragon quicker.

I had a very weird time with this. Here's how it went:
- I got Mercedes to max affinity
- I went to the Tainted Mountain
- ALDOUS turned up
- I killed the dragon
- I watched my character make out with Aldous
- Got home and both Selene AND Aldous were there
- Fought the Seneschal
- Washed up the beach
- Fucking FOURNIVAL turned up and grinned at me like that one creepy uncle
The "romance" system in this game is 110% broken and I LOVE IT.

Just beat the game, Aelinore was there for the Dragon and the ending. Though I was aiming for Mercedes(Got her max). I know a lot of Dogma Players rip Skyrim apart(I love the game) but at least in Skyrim, your know who your love is lol. There is no guessing game in Skyrim.

i remember how i got the... the warrior lady forgot her name for a soul mate but after fighting god and killing myself at the end the blacksmith just up came to my pawn as if HE was my soul mate. so im not sure what happened.
Though to me it kinda look like a father finds his son moment.

I was mildly surprised when I spoke to Valmiro and there was this chiming sound and the glow and those tiny blushes on his face. I was like what...? Dude, seriously...? And then I had to talk to Quina duo to a quest and the same thing happened.
So I got curious as to what that meant and checked out the DD Wiki. Needless to say I quickly learned about the Afinity and Romance issue. I literally stopped talking to Valmiro, giving him the cold shoulder and started showering Quina with gifts XD; I'm just miffed I missed the opportunity to give her the Arisen's Bond :T Ah well... As long as it's not Fournival... *looks at comic and shudders*. Madeleine... or Miss "I got the hots for you because you had a stupid looking hat". God, I hate her.

i set up a romance with mercedes early on and i didnt realize that even if i max affinity with one, and i max the affinity with another, and they were maxed before i fought the dragon they got uhh

I fell sad for the 1st soldier in the DD game who was eated by that weird Manticore.
Damm.... I was so worried to find him and just heal him with at least 1 of my potions... ohh damm.

Ironically after I made my comment about a year ago, my male Arisen ended up with Valmiro. I wish I could had just fed him to the dragon... I TRIED TO GET MERCEDES, THE STUPID ARISEN'S BOND CUTSCENE EVEN PLAYED DESPITE THE FACT THAT I GAVE IT TO HER!!! NO FAIR!!!
On a side note, I did give him to the dragon. But I was still stuck with him... I should had bought the art of metamorphosis so I didn't have to see him and my Arisen gay kiss...
I have nothing against homosexuality, I just wanted to get the girl.

Before you face the Dragon the person you choose must be the last person you talk to. They must have a pink aura anyone you don't want simply sheath and unsheathe your weapons until pink aura goes away.

That's common knowledge. To be honest, I actually killed Valimiro a few times before completing the game. I ended up with the Selene ending. I just think it was funny that every time I fed Valimiro to the Brine, his corpse would end up in front of the fireplace at my house sprawled out.

Arisen: "God Dammit Valmiro why are you adventuring again when I thought I told you to stay in the f*%king village"
Of course I didn't hear the Dragon say that he was my love and boy was I was surprised when they started to make out

My brother got Alalam as his ture love. He wanted to sacrifice him, but he did not want to risk loosing the store discount and his most visited merchant. So he saved him. Then they run of in to frolic in the fields. Oh jolly what good time of unwanted romance. All he wanted was a professional relation ship and he got so much more.

Ha! I finally got someone I wanted to get taken by the Dragon, as messed up as it sounds. I got... Ser... Maximilian!
Every time I got the Aelinore, I would thousand kiss her to death (oh, the irony). I also like throwing her at every opportunity during Duchess in Distress. This includes obstacles she won't normally go across! >

You know when I played the game and I saw this part (yes it happened to me) I killed the dragon then when back home I picked him up and threw him in the ocean, no more fornival, problem solved
