Description Oh, jeeez... this is SO old...

I did this about... say... seven, maybe eight years ago, in 3dsmax...

Was a shitload of work, haha...
I sorta wanted to create a SciFi-Hallway, that could maybe be on board of a starship or a spacestation or alike, that could be sorta modular, so you can use one peace of this hallway over and over again to build longer corridors, with turns and lifts and alike.

Was aiming for a sorta dark, cold and maybe even dangerous Atmosphere...

Heh, when i did this, i thought it was SOOOOO NEEEEAAATTT, haha... and, well, it doesnt look *too* bad, but heh, nowadays i see all the mistakes i made...
Bumpmaps FAR to deep... textures generally too small and the texture of the door at the end of the hallway isnt really good or interesting... i shouldΒ΄ve modeled a more detailed door, too... but it was sorta improvised, and i didnt want to render it out all opened up, leading into nothing, haha...

I think, i would do so many things different nowadays...

Indeed, the intention was to create something with a somewhat dark atmosphere

This is very, very old though... (uploaded ten years ago, but it was already several years old back then), i would do many things different these days, i guess

Ja, stimmt... Γ€hnelt sich. Ich habe den Corridor selbst auch nochmal in Schwarz gemacht. Deiner hier gefΓ€llt mir sogar noch besser,... so in etwa wollte ich den eigentlich auch aussehen lassen... aber dann lief es eben auf diese SW-Kopie hinaus. Naja, der Film ist ja noch lange nicht fertig. Danke

Naja, ich meinte so in etwa, vom dunklen Stil eben... klar, dass heute mit Mental Ray alles anders ist - das ist auch gut so Aber ich mach das ganze auch erst seit wenigen Monaten.

Na ist mir schon klar, dass Du den Stil meinst, denn die technische Umsetzung ist ja doch eher... durchwachsen XD

Ich mein, mentalRay hatte ich auch damals schon, als PlugIn fΓΌr 3D Studio MAX (heut bin ich Maya User), aber irgendwie war die Implementation... eh... nicht so prickelnd...

Und wenn Du sagst du machst das erst seit ein paar Monaten: Na, Hut ab! Weiter so!

Ahaha,... tis not that great...

I only want my "better" stuff in my gallery...

Look closely: The textures are a little off and look distorted, the bumpmapping is WAY overdone and that makes it look... eh... strange...?

hmmm.. .well... it didnt really pass the requirements of my personal Quality Assurance Department... which consists of !ME! , !MYSELF! and !i! so far

I would love for this to be my thing...I really would love to but i hardly ever have time. Most of my stories are thought up as I go to sleep, written down/edited while im in the bathtub (soaking up the water.not just lying in a bathtub ) and typed up whan I should be doing school work!
