Very personal one....But open for interpretation.
I think, there is no "wrong" interpretation, as long as its serious.

So, i finally got permission from to release this as a print! As mentioned above, i used one of her photos to create this, and so i just wanted to check back with her. Now, this is available as a standard print, as well as mugs, postcards and a mousepad...

Well there is many things that I could think for it,
but maybe if your into suidiced (sorry about spelling) you would think,
they light looks better, which would be a way to silence,
or maybe some place where you could think to yourself,
and realise things, like with enlightenment

It is a very personal piece, but still open for interpretation. I think, there i no wrong interpretation for it, because everyone sees something else in it.
And i have put a lot of work into the lighting / shading, so i am very happy, that you like it!

What's mine? That's hard to say... it's like suddenly she was somewhere (an office, a building, a hospital) and that light appeared and has sth misterious about it that only she knows or understands...

Well, i dunno if I have any huge interpretation, but she looks like she is thinking about stuff.....stuff that is hard or sad.
And I think of the lighted doorway two dif ways..it could represnt her thoughts, but it seems more like an exit. A way out, that she is not sure if she wants to take, either cuz she realizes it will require a lot of effort, or perhaps she is not sure she will be accepted or deserve it...I think lots of stuff tho, like possibly she does not know what is even in the exit...like if it is good or bad, or if she would just be putting herself back in the same situation as before...but I know I am interpreting it based on my own feelings, thoughts, and past, so I think it will mean something dif to everyone who sees it.
But I guess if I had to pick only one simple explanation...I'd pic..she has been hurt and she feels in the dark and alone although the light is right there and that the light is intrusive and the light is people and voices and noise and she is in the same place as the light, but she is closed off from the light by her own choice, cuz she is scared.

I think, that is the point of the image:
That its seen different, due to the fact of different personal experiences.
And some people even see something COMPLETELY different, which is cool as well.

There are a lot of possible storys coming to my mind when IΒ΄m watching at it, lots have something to do with being on a run or the wish to escape from an imprisonment that cannot be seen.
I think, it says a lot about you, and the fact, that it let arise stories in me, says, that you arenΒ΄t not an artist. You are an artist. This pic is.

Heidi (a painting friend of mine) says, that she solves this problem by setting an endpoint to her work. Like "Now itΒ΄s ready", and then it is.
