(boring repeated thesis theme...you can skip if youve read it)

Theme:
i was working on abstract expressionism. my theme was based around something that i have experienced very intensely. When things are boiled up inside too long, too much rage is generated. apparently catharsis lies in the outpouring of the soul.
i feel otherwise...an outpour is a dirty dirty explosion of more rage, frustration, noise and blood.

i had so much inside me that i could not sit in my studio and think and plan. i would close in my studio space. and start working on a surface with all my materials lying around me...
the experience has been by far the most amazing frenzied trances that i have been in. non inspired...almost always!

p.s. crappy photo quality

Creative and unique
I see lonelyness in this piece. As if anger was making someone to withdraw himself from the world, but wanting something really different from life and/ot his life. More peace and liberty.
Oh my ! I end my psychanalyze here !
anyway I like when a picture has a story to tell for me. And this one is...greatly

for a second, i thought the red was blood, but that would be a little much. i like the contrast between the red and blue. very good artwork.

I love the contrast of the red against blue and the way you've depicted youself(?). It really does suggest someones broiling amotions deep within themself and the self destruction it causes when one tries to bottle them up inside. Very nice work

both the faces, the scramingone at top and the quiet one at the bottom are myself. i had taken a zillion photographs of myself..doing pictoral studies and then i drew from them.
thanx again for the right analysis..

What a truely beautiful piece. You've got so much talent and skill it's really mindblowing. I wonder though, is this picture really expressing pure anger or self-pity? That calm blue balances the orange so nicely... and the rough, expressive lines of your screaming person are somewhat offset by the smooth water and peaceful sky. You're the artist, so you know, but to me it speaks of frustration more than anger. Here's this big, encompassing calm, uncaring world, and here's an individual in it... trying to make themselves heard... or felt. I'm probably projecting into it or something, but that doesn't really matter. What matters is that you're a real artist, and that this is really impressive. Wow.

thank you so much for the detailed comment...and yes your insight is almost exactly the same as the intention behind the painting.. but you have worded it so much more beautifully.
yes more than anything, more than all the anger, more than all the agony - theres frustration.
and that is a dark dark emotion.
thanx again

hmmm ...an angry piece...
to say the truth it doesn't look to me very angry or painted in self-pity. Actually this picture reminds me of the ocean, the peaceful blue ocean with gray surge (I like the sound of the water slapping against a rock - perfect lullaby)....okay that red on the lower part doesn't fit to that "peaceful" thoughts of mine, but this could be a fish, smashing against the rock, but everything has two sides and you can't love just one side when you never have seen the other (cruel) side.

i know what you mean about the water because it is water!i tried for a sort of contrast of sorts.
but if you look in close, at the top left is a screaming face done only in lines and strokes and not at all in body and tones.this painting is huge.so when you look at it close..it is very eery..at leats i felt so.
but even then every man to his own interpretation.
thanx btw

Now this is something cool. I like it! The red part near the bottom right seems to be a head blown up out of rage! could have been me a couple of months ago
