Now, despite the fact that I know that moose is unreliable, I'm a fan of this page. But I'm not a fan of the first two panels, which I think are on either side of a travel sequence. The car door gets shut in panel one (after the family climbs in), and they've arrived at their destination in panel two -- and I feel sure that's what happened, but I really want some kind of indication that I've interpreted it correctly. I think a frame of the car on the road would actually work better for panel one; whatever question we have about who is in the car or where it's going is dispatched quickly enough by the next three panels. And actual frame of travel also gives Maple more time to fall asleep on the way. Just my thoughts.

This piece of insight makes a HUGE difference, sir!

But I NEVER would've made the connection that both Maple AND Monty had gotten a ride from the same stranger without your help. Even with the same (stranger) character bridging the pages I don't think I could've done that. I just couldn't figure out what was going on.

However! Knowing what the story is now, I gotta say, it's really, really funny. I just wish I would've picked up on it. Somehow.

It'd probably be more pick-up-able if I didn't post them a week apart. Hopefully it makes a little more sense one after the other... but maybe not? I don't know. I'll try to find a workaround.
