FULL VIEW. PLEASE!!!I'm super mega happy with how this came out, it is probably my biggest photoshop achievement, and it also took the longest
Edward Elric is in the front, my FMA character Keira is behind him on the right, and Alphonse Elric is behind her on the left. Yah, I cut off the legs of most of 'em, just for an effect...Oh, and Keira is the Lunar Alchemist, so she' making all the pretty stars
Thanks to ~gamergal for designing and drawing Keira's automail!
Her left hand is automail, and she can transmute her automail into a spike just like Ed can, although hers comes out of her wrist.Alphonse took the longest O.O;;; Never ever EVER draw him, honsetly, a nightmare waiting to happen. And he STILL doesn't look right! Come to think of it, neither does Ed. Ahh well.

lol, thanks for understanding. It felt so weird not having internet for a whole week, cuz you know I have a whole rutine worked out, get outa bed, check my email and devi, eat breakfast, shower, then get back on...I luff my computer ^.^

Nuuuu! Remember that magical girl I did? I did that with a mouse and it looks TERRIBLE! Tablets are hard to use at first, but after a while it gets so easy! OMG. If I had your skills when I didn't have the tablet, I probably wouldn't of bought one. Seriously.

I can give you a few tips if you like! ^-^ It's quite time-consuming >.<

Okay, ummm, since you say you don't really have any experience, I'll start with the basics. I use photoshop 7.0
You scan in a sketched picture, probably pencil is best, and open it in photoshop. This 'layer' should be labeld 'Background'. You click 'create new layer' (im just assuming you know how!) making sure that this particular layer is always kept on top of any other you create, call it 'OUTLINE'. You basically then do a lineart, first you should probably chose a black paintbrust at about 3 pixels, and zoom however much you want using ctrl + (You can use ctrl - to zoom out again). Outline all of your picture, (a handy tip to try out is click and make a small dot in a random place, then while holding shift, click in another place. Hoorah! Perfect straight line!) and then click on the 'background' layer again, erase all the pencil lines, then create a new layer. This layer will be basic colour, I usually am very specific when labeling my layers, so if you wanted to colour in, say, a red shirt, I would call this layer 'red shirt'. Then when you create another layer above that, call it 'dark shirt' (for shading in the folds in the clothes and such.) Anyways, select the colour you want to use using the colourpicker tool, and make your brush bigger, say up to 13 pixels, depending on how big your area to colour is. Colour it.
Errr...There is more to it, but I'll let you figure out the rest. If you are really lost, aske me again if you want!

i get all the basics lol.. i guess, but its the SHADING! its hard >< and the eyes and hair i have most problem with, i mean, most of the tutorials people have tablets! TT.TT *wants tablet*

Yeah, I really wish I had read some tutorials BEFORE using photoshop, I made so many mistakes, trial and error, ya know? But I'm thoroughly self-taught, I only started reading tutorials around the time of my first animation. ^-^
I quite like that pic, like a lot! The lines are so perfect and thin! (TEACH ME! XD) And very nice shading on the colthes, I dig the shirt 
The shading, my LORD I hate shading, but it needs to be done XD i KNOWWWWW I totally want a tablet so bad, but ahh well I'm doomed to use the mouse >.< I want to see you with a tablet, that would be awesome!

Im amazed at how Al came out, His armour looks like it does on the show, and the colors are perfect!
Your characters eyes are a very bright blue! O_o The shading and highlights on Ed and namelesses hair is great!
Im not so sure about Ed though, the way his body slopes looks like he is putting his head back and his leg thats in front comes forward a bit far
Also his heads a bit oddly shaped(OMG! Im sad!) but other than that I think it looks great, honestly Krista!
LOL, Eds coat doesnt look very red next to namelesses bright red skirt and glove!
Im still very amazed at the colors, I think you got them all perfect!
