Jamie can be pretty laid back and a very friendly person to pretty much anyone she meets. She loves being in the water and is a natural born swimmer as well as quite handy with a fishing pole. But she can be rather selfish, lazy, and almost uninterested at times. She's the type of person who would offer to help with a big project without realizing how big it was and then complain about the effort she has to put forth. But regardless of the whining she has grown to at least still finish the project rather than ditching half way through it. Though, she might complain less if she's good friends with you. Jamie's slowly making her way out her absent minded and naive shell and actually expressing real concern and serious emotions (even though she isn't crazy about it) If this is a result of her accepting a part of her past and learning to deal with it or just her maturing over the years no one is really sure. Not to mention as she has gotten older she has grown into be somewhat of a friendly flirt with people. Though it's all just fun to her and she never is really serious when she does it. She just enjoys giving people sincere compliments and watching others get a little flustered. She has been able to grow to be not only the kind of person who knows how to rely on her Pokemon but also how to grain their trust to rely on her in return. She gotten less reckless in her battling style and is beginning to actually think and construct strategies, so in a way she sees the Battle Tests as a good chance to exercise her Pokemon and test herself.

Post R4: Due to excelling up the ranks, Jamie's personality has warped her into something she isn't. Normally cheerful and often passive, she's now very reserved and on edge consistently. There has even been a moment where she's tried to hurt another being and honestly if you didn't see it happen you wouldn't have believed since Jamie is of the last people who would willing hurt someone. And this sudden change has put half of her team on edge as they worry for their trainer's mental health as it just continues to crumble day by day...And sadly the excessive drinking she's doing to try and control herself is only doing so much for her...

Ironically even though Jamie still claims Humaliu City as her home, the girl hasn't been there for even a solid week in over ten years. She left home with a bad taste in her mouth thanks to several reasons. One in particular that she strangely quickly forgot about was due to a strange professor who had been in their hometown ever since she was six. Obviously she didn't think much of this when she managed to acquire a stubborn but well meaning Tepig from the region professor and got busy beginning her travels outside the region. She never thought much about why she left home until she heard that her mother was expecting and felt that she should be there for her. Jamie simply chalked it up to the fact that her family had been trying to micromanage her life for years. It was a pretty solid reason for someone as free spirited as Jamie, she wanted to make her own life choices afterall. Not have others tell her who she was going to be. But she only stayed at home briefly due to when she gained a baby brother she lost her trusted partner in a strange battling accident. Jamie mourned this loss greatly and was so confused why it happened. It wasn't until she got a nasty scar from a modified Xatu, that was sent to remove subconscious memories and mess with her mind further, that she realized what had happened. But all she had learned from this encounter was gone thanks to her ending up with a case of amnesia due to all the trauma she had experienced over the year.

But after all this tragedy, during her recovery at a hospital, Jamie was given a friendly Squirtle to help cope with her rehabilitation. The two grew close quickly and they ended up leaving together to travel to Johto. And this was where Jamie's world slowly crashed around her. After leaving the hospital, Jamie couldn't help but feel lost. With her memories a mess and feeling like she was full of nothing but endless questions Jamie quickly came to realize what she had missed all these years. Thanks to everything being a chaotic mess she discovered memories that where buried deep within her mind. The memories that the Xatu was sent to remove from her. She felt disgusted with herself and even more lost after the discovery. It took her over a year to just accept what happened to her and another half of a year to even talk about it to Ronald, who is still the only one who knows the whole story. Jamie just tries to avoid talking about what happened to her with that monster. She eventually decided to confront him about what he did to her. The encounter wasn't pleasant in the least and Jamie left more feeling even worse instead of satisfied. But thanks to that encounter she did learn some things and Ronald finally evolved to protect her from the man. But Jamie had been taken in for questioning after the lab that the professor was using had exploded but she ended up with a warning when nothing pointed at her being the on to do it and she was released to her aunt, whom she had never met before that night. After a heavy hearted explanation her aunt suggested that Jamie come to Hoenn with her to try get her mind off things. So for the past 3 years Jamie has been in Hoenn recently working at a ship building company and living in her aunt's beach house.

When Jamie had gotten wind of these Battle Tests and she figured it would be a good chance to stretch her legs again as a trainer. Since it has been some time since she and her Pokemon has been in the game. But when he grandmother caught on she was going to Ohana for these tests she insisted that she did not want her only granddaughter to go. Having heard the gossip and seen the news reports over the past years of what has occurred in Ohana she knew it could be dangerous for Jamie to go. She claimed she was worried of the past repeating itself and that Ohana was like a magnet for trouble. But Jamie convinced her nothing dangerous would happen and it wasn't even an actual competition this time so there was nothing to worry about and submitted her registration paper regardless. It didn't hurt that Ohana was a summer island either.

Audrey is the newest addition to Jamie's team and he's still trying to find his place on the team. Thanks to his lax attitude he doesn't seem to mind Jamie's eager and excitable personality too much and he manages to just go with it. (Also Jamie mistook him for a female when she first encountered him, hence the name Audrey.) Audrey is held in a Ultra Ball.

Seraphina

Seraphina has actually grown to respect and even at times admire Jamie over the years. She is still pretty cold and often too serious for her own good though. Not to mention she might pick a fight or two if she believes someone is worth fighting. Which is technically better than just trying to fight everyone. Can be a bit temperamental when she is in a foul mood (which is most of the time sadly).

Talith

Talith is actually a Pokemon from Jamie's childhood. Back when she was little she would often befriend the water Pokemon in her town and they hit it off pretty nicely. When Jamie had returned home to help her mother with the new baby, Jamie finally captured Talith and she become officially apart of the team. She has grown into a very cheerful and loyal Kingdra who loves to swim and explore with Jamie. Talith is held in a Net Ball.

Adoria

Even after evolving Adoria is still very much her silly, childish self. Only now she is bigger and has even worse bed head that Jamie simply adores. The two of them get into all sort of silly antics that endless worry poor Ronald. Often Adoria is seen slouching a bit due to being a little uncomfortable with her new height still and admits to missing her days being on Jamie's shoulders. Sometimes she'll still try to get Jamie to carry her now and then.

Kamina
Hawlucha | ♂ | 2'6

Ability: Mold Breaker
Moves: Poison Jab | Flying Press | Roost | Payback

Kamina is literally a ball of energy in the form of a small bird. He is very eager and easily excited to do new things no matter what that might entail. Sadly, he lacks the ability to really control his strength and this can often lead to unfortunate accidents. But never the less he is determined to get a handle on it to impress Jamie. He's extremely loyal to her and still feels bad about hitting her when he emerged from a ship crate very startled. Kamina is held in a quick ball.

Ronald is actually not Jamie's first Pokemon as most people think due to how close the two are. He came from the hospital Jamie was admitted to and was a Pokemon used to help people during recovery, but they grew so close he ended up coming with her when she left. Ronald can be extremely protective of Jamie (for both good and "he simply doesn't like you" reasons), but he has learned to be laid back over the years thanks to Jamie rubbing off on him. He's pretty touchy about Jamie growing taller than him after he evolved and gets a little grumpy when Jamie teases him because she knows it annoys the Blastoise. He loves taking naps during the day like Jamie and is actually happy that his trademark eyebrows stayed through is evolution. Ronald's traditional Poke Ball has a scar on it.
