Update: Shrank the head, decreased the arm length of the left arm, made eye look forward, twisted the nose to the correct angle, increased spyro size overall. Basically, made him look less like a caricature and fixed the perspective.This is my official style. I also tried to use several light sources here. Oh, and its wallpaper size
let me know if you use it.Explanation: This is my favorite move from Spyro's fire element. This is 1/9 of a series where I paint a concept of the best element moves of both Spyro and Cynder. Next....Shadow Strike from cynder!
Time: About 11 hours.

I must say I love how you did the open mouth blaze effect. And I love the hues and shades you added to the rocks, definetely. I love how you did the claws and other tectures.
And, here we go with flaws. I love how bright and flowing you made the fire look, but I believe it should look more realistic, like the rest of the image does. And is it just me or does spyro seem a little scrawny? It could just be the angle and anatomy setup you used, I'm not really sure on that one. The eye seems to be a tiny bit big for the rest of his head.

Pros:
- The pose is fantastic, it almost feels like he's rushing right past you e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="
- Tthe background is also amazing, especially the rocks on the ground and the fire.
- Lighting, mainly the light from the fire showing over the rocks e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="
- Scales loook great too.
Cons:
- I'll say scales here too but this is pure personal opinion. IMO, if there's too much detail on scales it can often make a picture harder to look at and sometimes spoil it. But then again, that's just to me.

I can see how he'd be launching the fire out of his mouth and then running through it and encasing him as he's going about terrorizing enemies.
