Description some basic sketch ideas I drew up for

Fig.1)
Slenderman standing beneath a lamppost at night, the first time Toby sees him.

Fig.2)
The ghostly children in Toby's nightmare when he's in the endless hallway. These children were taken by the Slenderman and as a result have taken on his appearance and have become a hivemind. These surround Toby in the hallway after his encounter with his sister.

Fig.3)
A mad, smiling face like the Cheshire Cat smile, which will soon be the appearance of Toby's mouth guard and goggles when he runs away from home and becomes a proxy. These smiles appear in unusual places and haunt Toby during hallucinations, and appear on different objects and surfaces in whatever room Toby is in.

Fig.4)
Toby's sister, Lera, as a phantom during Toby's nightmare. Unlike most of the other hallucinations and nightmares, Lera is the most disturbing and gory, and appears incredibly detail in how Toby remembered her body after the fatal car crash. Glass is piercing her skull and tore most of her skin, her limbs twisted and bones visible and her legs broken in odd angles, and her bottom jaw hangs by slithers of ripped flesh. She acts as Toby's conscience, telling him that her father wasn't there for her...

Fig.5)
The Slenderman appears to Toby by the bedside window, and even during his therapy session. I like the idea that it's not clear what exactly Slenderman is, whether he's a demon, a ghost, a faerie creature or some sort of extraterrestrial. I like the idea that he sort of acts like an alien when he moves and peers in the window, or at a distant he acts very ghostly, just standing there in mist and staring at Toby intensely.

Fig.6)
One of Toby's hallucinations from the story was him telling his mom he saw a shark in the sink. While it is very strange and a little humorous, I thought of the idea that Toby's hallucination becomes much more menacing and was brought on by visuals.
First he could be helping out with chores and is washing up dishes, and while daydreaming he sees the tip of a knife sticking out from the sink water. In his mind it looks like a shark's fin.
As he's washing, he could see something out of the window, perhaps a car or a truck that made him think of the car crash his sister died in. It could erupt with a loud noise as it sped past, and as Toby imagined the sound of the imminent crash, a large shark's head burst out of the sink, but instead of splashing water, it's the sound of smashing glass .

Fig.7)Β
Toby also claims to hear crickets under his pillow when he sleeps. This hallucination could just be brought on by insomnia and the constant sounds of nightcrawlers outside at night as he sleeps near his window. I could possibly see the crickets at one point, and I kinda like the idea that these were bizarre looking creatures that could either be hallucinations, or some kind of creatures relating to Slenderman, or perhaps strange visions brought on by Slenderman's presence.
The crickets could move in a jilted, disjointed way like in stop-motion animation, and have large bloodshot eyeballs to emphasise Toby's declining sanity and the jerky movements of the crickets to represent Toby's Tourettes, and how he sees himself.

Fig.8) Just before Toby kills his dad, there may be a final hallucination (or several sprinkled throughout the story) of Toby seeing his dad as a bloated rotting corpse, constantly spewing viscous liquid from his shrivelled mouth, a clear representation of how Toby sees his dad; a sad empty hollow shell being rotted away by alcoholic abuse, as well as foreshadowing his eventual demise at the hands of his own son.

Fig. 1) Ahh I love lamppost relating animation you always get to have a fun play on the lighting.
Fig. 2) The visual and lighting effects that can be added to dream/ nightmare like states have always had an appeal to me, so this will definitely be a fun challenge.Β
Fig. 3) This will be interesting, perhaps they can become a bit of an easter egg hunt to find these 'smiles' Β throughout the animation until the end bits of course.
Fig. 4) Huh, perhaps with this particular scene, the injuries could slowly and graphically appear on her as she's talking to him?
Fig. 5) That would be quite fascinating, perhaps adding some blur and transition effects, switching back between sort of similar forms?
Your description of Fig. 6 is quite incredible, and gives me quite the idea. I'll probably draw up some practice animation relating to that one first.
Fig. 7) has such a bizarre and fascinating imagery, I love the idea of practicing animating some difficult like insects, as well as an odd flail like bat stop motion.
Fig. 8) Hm, I definitely approve of the detailed amount of gore that's in this, I have definitely wanted to go into more shock factor stuff. I've always been one to want to draw more gruesome things, now animating them that's a whole new level.
Thank you so much, hey if you have any other animation ideas for any of the other characters feel free to suggest some more

Sweet! I'm glad you like these ideas
and sure, I like the idea of his sister growing more disturbed and bloody the more she stares at him.

Hmm, well I did have an idea for Eyeless Jack.
See, I wasn't too particularly overjoyed to learn that EJ had an origin story, as I thought he was the type of character that would be shrouded by mystery and thus make him more creepy the less you know of his intentions.
But anyways, I read the origin story, and......well.....it's kinda lame.
Pretty cheesy, and paints EJ as the typical emo college student.

I kinda did my own origin story for him, and kinda went with the idea that instead of a teen just becoming a monster, but if in a way he was already a monster to begin with.
Though, it kinda goes back to a sort of 'slenderman' story, but I gave it a little twist. I just wanted to make the story much more darker and disturbed than the original, though I'm not sure I quite succeeded XD
It may need to be tweaked here and there

But other than him, I got quite a few other ideas as well

I'm glad you like the idea!

I.... he does? Well I've never heard of that before, I feel as though it wasn't as popular as the shortened story?

I very much like the sound of how your story plays out, I myself have a story for him as well. Some kind of doctor done wrong I suppose.
Did you write up the story and post it to dA? If so, feel free to link it to me so I can give it a read

Please do share, depending on the idea I might start some practice runs today~!

Yeah, his story was written by the author of Sally's story, La mishi-mish.
It seems to be pretty popular, but I never really found it creepy. Plus, I just didn't think EJ needed an origin story anyway.
But sure, I can link my story to you
Eyeless! (Part 1 of 2)
Hello.
My name's Vincent, and this is my rather interesting story, as horrifying as it is.
I suppose I should start by saying that before all of these terrifying occurrences took place in my life, I wasn't exactly a firm believer in the "paranormal" or the "supernatural". But now that I've had one such encounter that I can safely say my life has been changed forever. I'm not too sure if it was for the best or the worst, but now I know I'm much wiser than before. There are monsters out there. Terrible, faceless, eyeless monsters that lurk in the shadows.
I used to revel in such stories as I found them fun to tell and listen to, as silly as a lot of them may seem.
But now....now I have seen that otherworldly forces are at work in the underbelly of human society. And they will take what they want, and will be constantly following you. Constantly watching you.
Now I suppose this little tale will be much more of a condensed memoir of sort, rather th
Eyeless! (Part 2 of 2)
5) A Date With Kelly
So, before I explain the details of my grand plan, here's the checklist of items I remember writing up for it:
-a roll of industrial tape
-black spray paint
-a small flashlight
-rope and some plastic cable ties
-tongs
-scalpel
-five or so small jars
-a bottle of embalming chemicals from my mother's study.

and finally, I needed an outfit. My disguise.
I found some black clothing including a hoodie and tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers. It will be dark during the procedure. I needed to blend in to the shadows of the night. I was originally going to use a balaclava or a ski mask, but I wanted to do this with a little more 'flair'. Something to stimulate the nerves, and fuel the adrenaline-filled terror of the night.
I had an old hockey mask I wore for Halloween when I was eight years old. I had kept it within the attic ever since. It was still intact, but I figured a hockey mask wasn't really me. It was a tad too cliche for m

Hmm, well I guess I had some ideas for Slenderman, and I also had an idea to adapt Clockwork's story to make it a little better. And I guess is kind of an off-beat reference, in Clockwork's story I wanted to make a few Stanley Kubrick homages (though that may sound kinda pretentious to do for a sub-standard creepypasta story XDD)
I also created a fictional organisation called Sevenmouth, which will be used in my comic, but I was thinking of making some sort of story about them beforehand. Their leader is my OC, Clarisse Delacroix

The small story for jack definitely seems more fitting than an origin.

Slenderman stuff is always quite fun, not to big of a fan of Clockwork, kind want to stay away from her, Hey, that sound like a pretty interesting name for an organization. I've had an organization for years, but can never come up with a name for it. A bit frustrating to say the least.

Tsnophaljakarax In reply to AskThemCreepies [2017-07-09 11:45:18 +0000 UTC]

Yeah true. I always saw it as a creative nod to the Stolen Kidneys urban legend.
But hey, I guess there's just an origin now that's popular. I just wanted to do my own version that was a little more twisted in it's subject matter.

Yeah, not many people are big fans of Clockwork despite her being pretty popular XD I kinda saw she had a little bit of potential, but it just wasn't executed right.
And nice, you have an organisation too? What do they do?

Agreed there, I did always think that was a bit of a clever thing.
Man I need to read so many things but I keep getting busy haha x'D

Just the uh story.... made ... like, very little sense from what I can remember, definitely had potential...

For my fellows, to sum it up they create monsters, humanoid, creatures, uhh bioweapons that tend to backfire yeeeaaah

Ahhh I get it ^^ Sounds pretty cool idea for a comic (and for some reason made me think of Cabin In The Woods XD)

Yeah, Clockwork's story is kinda all over the place and a lot of things are pretty dumb, and there's quite a lot of shock value that just comes out of nowhere. But I liked the idea of a killer who's fixated on the concept of time, and sees herself as the embodiment of time. Plus I like her overall character design (though the stitched smile thing is a little too much.
I just think with a little (well...a lot X'D) of tweaking and her story could have something....maybe..

AskThemCreepies In reply to Tsnophaljakarax [2017-07-10 21:39:30 +0000 UTC]

Huh, also I kinda decided to make a Ticci Toby for some.... reasons. It's going to be probably based in humour but occasionally delving into the more serious side of things. I've got a huge list of ideas lined up to draw already.

It is quite all over the place, I suppose another thing that peeved me about her is that she has a clock eye. One of my really old CP characters (now more of and OC than a fan character) has that kinda thing. I didn't realize this till just now.... Could they have perhaps ripped me off? I have another character that has a stitched smile too.... hmph.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Tsnophaljakarax In reply to AskThemCreepies [2017-07-10 22:11:52 +0000 UTC]

That could be possibly, though I think the idea of Clockwork was to be more of a Jeff ripoff XD
I guess the stitched smile thing could have just been a substitute for the chelsea smile Jeff has.
As for the clock, who can say? ^-^

But I'm including her in my comic, but with a bit more of a grounded character, and her personality is kinda like a cross of a female Alex Delarge and Revy from Black Lagoon. She's not the main character by any means, but I'd like to play around with her character to see if I can improve her significantly ^^

Oh yeah, I'm also thinking of creating new creepypasta monsters. Like, ACTUAL monsters, not weird-ass anime humans with demon horns and call that a "monster" XD
I had a few ideas, but I have no idea how to put it as a story to go with them.
That's why I'd like to read some Lovecraft stories and see how on earth that guy did with all his crazy monstrosities XD

And speaking of Ticci-Toby, got any more developments for the animation idea?

Hey, if you need any help with ideas I love throwing monster creation ideas around.

Not quite unfortunately. I've been too busy with my job to do any extra curricular activities.

Thanks a lot, and yeah, I understand if you're busy with work.
atm I got a lot of hullabaloo about if i'm going back to college next year or if I have to try out for a Distance Course in Illustration if I'm unable to do it the year I get back, whenever that is.
It's all a mess, but whatever.

And yeah, I'd love to hear some monster designs. I have a few atm but I really need to flesh them out more. But I'd love to hear what ideas you'd have

Hm well here's a couple of ideas that you might be able to work with:
A humanoid creature covered in fishhooks.
A creature with multiple grotesque animalistic limbs
Sewed up humanoid mechanical creature.

Tsnophaljakarax In reply to AskThemCreepies [2017-08-11 20:49:20 +0000 UTC]

So at the moment I've come up with 2 creatures I hope you'll like (and they're kinda along with the whole Zalgo concept as well)

The one with the sewed up humanoid with mechanical parts is the Hydra
and the one with the multiple animal limbs coming out in odd grotesque ways is called Baloth (The Bonnacon)

I can't think for one with the fishhooks tho though I do like the idea, I'm trying to think on an interesting way to design the creature's structure.

But I hope in the next post I can show the ones you've inspired me to do, and I hope you'll like them

That first is going to be a pretty impressive creation, I am very much looking forward towards it. Maybe I'll even draw fanart x'D

I also love the idea of multiple animal limbs, I'll definitely want to draw that~

How about a creature with a very curved and long spine?

I'm sure they're gonna be amazing~

I hope you like how I depicted your ideas for them :3

And cool! I guess that could work with a long spine. So...fish hooks and a long spine...hmmm...I'm starting to see a human-scorpion hybrid of sorts, but with a morphed body..
