Just a edit I did of this image taking into account some construtive comments made by . I made his nose look more like a nose and got right of the black lines on his saber for a more saber like effect I guessOpinions? is this better than the first one?

I do like the difference with the saber... maybe you couuld add a slight glowing edge to it and make it sort of blend with the picture better? Dunno ^^'

This is a good pic with solid lineart and solid coloring. I also like the bg that goes with this. Maybe if you want a better saber effect, try making a contrast where its greener on the border and as it is drawn towards the middle, it becomes white. Then again, I forget how the sabers look like in the official drawings, but you get what I mean. Overall, this is a good pic... and you said you couldn't color MMX style...

I think it is. But then again I don't recall correctly right now. Haven't you seen the MMX pics? Your shading style looks similar to theirs in solidity, but I think the hair is colored differently. Also in MMX pics, the saber has more of a contrast to them, if you get what I mean. MMZ coloring has a lighter feel to it, the color black is not necessarily black as it is blue or purple... same with the color white.
I need to recap on those two different artstyles.
