Description This is probably as close to a "Rose" that I can seem to make with Apo 2.04.

At the time I did this I was REALLY frustrated trying to create something that looked like a rose.

The frustration doesn't show, only the pretty, pretty. I guess it's kind of like gardening, so much work (frustration) and then wow, one single rose is enough to make you forget ('til the aphids show anyway, lol).

Well..... Lets say it this way, I do a lot better with roses and nuking the aphids than I did with Apo.

WOW!
Well, as I recall, I started with using the plastic script, then started tweeking the #2 transform, then zoomed in, played with the gradient a bit, added a bit of blur, maybe noise, then reduced the weight a bit!

In otherwords, I really couldn't tell you how to do the same thing!
Btw: Thanks for the !

Ah..thank you.....I did not mean you had to be as specific as you have.....but am grateful as I am trying so hard to get a flower in Apo that is less abstractural in nature.......thank you kindly....your work is beautiful!.

Check out these two people *karma4ya and *phoenix75 Both are very nice ladies! Phoenix75 is in the middle of a move right now, so she probably will be gone for another week. Karma4ya, is a real nice person, tell her that I sent you to her. and tell her what you are trying to do. She may send you a flame file to get started with. In either event, be sure to check out their galleries, they are both better than I at this!

It's on the way!

OH! one other note, I did this in Apo 2.04, you may want to open it in 2.06, because they did some things to improve backwards compatability!

Ahhhh, when I got the file it was late for me....it is only 6.21 am for me now......so I have only opened it in Apo.....and yes, you can imagine.....I HAD to play with it.........and I actually opened it in 2.05z+ ect....and........Ohhhhh......I was drooling with surprise at the beauty.......but I tweaked a little and changed it quite a lot......but I can see where you are getting the flower from. .....it is still going to be hard because it does not like a lot of tweaking, but it took a fair amount....but I had to force myself to close it and go to sleep; and I think you know how hard that can be for an Apoholic..........but thank you so much for this file..........it has given me a start to what I want to achieve......and although a tiny file of a few KB's, to me it was a gift that is huge............

beautifull... now when I have tryied doing these I can understand how hard these are to make look like you want to...
And this is great!

so... whats the difference between Apo 2,02 and 2,04?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TThealer56 In reply to Gerridwen [2007-04-14 01:42:11 +0000 UTC]

Apo 2.04 has features and capabilities, that 2.02 doesn't have, same as 2.05 has features and capabilities that 2.04 doesn't have....... BUT 2.05 doesn't run on the WinMe OS so I can't use it.

Gerridwen In reply to TThealer56 [2007-04-14 07:05:16 +0000 UTC]

just loaded 2.05 to my computer... I have a windows XP so it works fine...
just didn't have the time to test it yet...
but even with it I will never achieve something like that what you sent via note... it was amazing..
