This is Kovu, with his (not real, I know) father Scar. I know this is an impossible scene since Scar died because of the hyena's or whatever way he died, but I wanted to draw them together anyhow. I love drawing Scar with a smile, instead of that annoyed glance which is on his face constantly. I dislike Kovu's manes like this.. That's why I drew them differently here: tuesdaytamworth.deviantart.com… I love these two. It's a pity I've never seen them together in a movie..Kovu and Scar © Disney's The Lion King

Yes, Scar is his adoptive father.
And Nuka is the Son of Zira and Scar.
Kovu had a different father because I believe Scar didn't Feel like Nuka would be "Kingly"

Scar with a smile is much nicer! I like him better with one and Kovu Scar would have been a good father to Kovu ^^
