Ugh, the scene I hate the most. The stampede. Wish the death of Mufasa never happened. But oh well, without his death it wouldn't make The Lion King as perfect as it is.

Scar was one of those bad guys you gotta love and hate.Β Even with what resentment he carried, he still had his charms.Β But after killing Mufasa in cold blood and holding Simba accountable for the incident like the lying dick that he is, everyone wanted Simba to make Scar pay for it all with his life.

On the contrary, I LOVE this scene, Scar's plotting, Mufasa plummeting to his death, the feels, the drama. Ugh, I love it.

Uh, I hate this part in the movie! I just hate all the Simba and Scar scenes because it shows how much Simba loves and trusts his uncle, never even thinking his uncle was disgusted by and loathed him. Poor baby.
For some reason, adult Simba sometimes annoys me, but I love little Simba. The personalities are very different.

Wow really? I have seen the movie so many many many times, but never thought of that before. Sounds logical when you know.

I think that the movie hints at it too lightly to get it the first time around. It never outright says that this is the reason Simba is blamed, but you can see it if you watch the context clues left by each scene. Scar leads Simba to the gorge and tells him to work on his 'little roar', and signals for the hyenas to give chase to the wildebeest as Simba's roar echoes off of the gorge. Scar then blames Simba, asking him what he had done, telling him that he killed his father. Β
