Oh this is so beautiful! I love the composition, it's got such a lovely sense of balance but also direction... And so atmospheric!

Again, so totally incredible. I'm going to refer to my earlier comment about the water - it's so still but the reflection of the light is done so well, it's not too etched very fluid. I love the way the light comes off the figures in the boat and their reflection in the water.
The bird is fantastic but, as you love your dinosaurs, of course I should expect the anatomy to be spot on.
I love the little trail of water behind the bird, it's like you captured it right in motion, like a photograph. And the mist, the eerie, ethereal atmosphere of the painting is so beautiful. I love how you made it mingle with the trees in the background as it trails off into the woods.
The background music is also very apropos.

This is really great! I like the whole series, but in this particular painting the light, shadow and mist stands out the most. Well done!

The contrast in this painting is interesting, the way the dark shadows on the left are juxtaposed with the bleak whiteness on the right. The fowl fluttering off the water against the fog creates a really surreal effect.
