The colours are so wonderful, the icy blue mixing towards a darker midnight colour.

Geeze let me just add to the masses here ^^. I think it's cute... and since I'm obsessed with Poke'mon this is a complement: I wanna catch it in a poke' ball and use the little thing in a match! ^^ nice colors too and again: CUTE!

that is amazing. the lines, the texture, the movement of the subject - everything is just well-done. considering that you did this using a mouse. not a lot of digital painters can handle that. you should think about getting a WACOM. i am certain you can do wonders with it.

The brushes are great in the background, but I think you should have textured the draggon with a brush overlay on top of it. Other than that I think the painting is well done, although you shouldnt strain your hands when you can just draw on pencil first.
You might want to also get a tablet to easy your painting strains. Theyre a great investment if this is what you mostly do in your art.
Only suggestions on improvements to what you have is to add even more painting detail. Addint intricate skin detail and hair detail. Just add more than you have before. Detail pays off in the end.

Hi!
Nice job on the coloring of this little beastie, really nice.
Dragons/Dimar anatomy isn't something I've dabbled in for a really, really long time, so I'm rusty. The image looks good, the horns are very well colored, and the furry ridge is a neat touch.
What I don't like is the structure on the wings.. I don't know why exactly I don't like what I see, tho.. perhaps it looks too much like a human art, which I don't think would be really capable of supporting flight, but not that that really *matters* as this is a fantasy piece, and fantasy tends to ignore physics.
Overall, nice work!

for mousework this is very good actually. i like your choice of colors, and how you made the eye jump out by making it orange. i think i like the eye best of the entire image actually. very clear and sharp. the rest of the animal is maybe a bit too fuzzy for me. i think all in all the image is good, the background works well, i just don't like the outter border, too obvious colordodge blending.

You did that with a mouse? It looks awesome. It's really soft, and the colors go together very well. I also like your frame, with the shapes of flowers, and words. It looks like you put a lot of work into the details and background.
The neck and head look very mature and fully formed, whereas the body looks a little less finished - but you have to start somewhere, and the head is a great place.
I really like the nuances of the shading, it seems like fur would be really hard to do, but you've done it well.
Great job. Look forward to seeing more of these.
Oh, the words are fitting and nice too

The colors have such a cool, clean feel to them. This gives me the idea that I'm looking at something with a much bigger environment, even though it's rather limited in that respect (as pictures usually are). That's something that's hard to do... and I can't do.
The eye is very impressive. and the texture of the hair.
