(( Now I havent seen one for the Ottoman Empire xD If not then I havent seen enough of them!Complete fail though, my sketchy roughness pops out more then what I was trying to attempt = 3 = Ah well...I grew pretty frustrated near the end with the text and such and Im sure theres a grammar and spelling error there somewhere, forgive that;;
Aah well other then that I had a hard time with some of the information, mostly because I wondered if I should use the Ottoman Turkish name and if I should include his other "two capitals".
Anyway it was a lot of fun and took...half of forever to do bfsvdfydsv Neveragaaain

But Constantinople was the capital of the Ottoman Empire to begin with. They didn't change it to Istanbul until Mustafa Kemal came to power.
Mustafa also made Ankara the offical capital, which most non-Turks in America would probably not know right off the bat.

No it was called Konstantiniyye and Constantinople until 1920s when the republic changed the name to Istanbul

Ottomans used Turquoise or Green background and single or 3 crescents on their Flags as it was an empire it had different flags coat of arms and symbols unlike a nation state Turkey also when they call Turkish Empire as term Turkish is used anyone who is Ottoman citizens and also in Turkey like Americans or British a person would be a Turk or other nationalities kind a confusing Ottomans is easier to call

Aaah depended on who was ruling actually~ Our sultans changed flags every now and then or had them to represent the military or other such things~ I do know which flag you're talking about though xD~! I always found it strange with the English translating Osmanli to Ottoman amongst other names that were changed from our language o v o But maybe it is easier to the English speaking?
