Hey look, it’s Gary Stu!
A portrait of my character because I wanted to know what he might look like in a more ‘realistic’ style, though his design is still subject to change. I wish I timed myself but I didn’t. I’ll guess somewhere between 5-10 hours, which isn’t really helpful. I used about 10 different kinds of pencils, most of which were HBs, 3 different erasers and paper blenders/torchons.
Character and art belongs to me. I hope he isn’t really a Stu/Sue, but it’s difficult to judge because litmus tests don’t seem to cover deity characters. D:

Especially regarding that I once found you (or did you find me? Don't remember anymore) through Doctor Who stuff - Having similar tastes in fan Art of course is easy - But I rarely have people in my whatchlist, who's original art I even enjoy a little bit more

I love him. He looks so fluffy. Oh and don't take those mary sue/gary stu tests seriously. I tried a couple on my OC character. One said she wasn't a mary sue and one did. It was fun trying though

Oh I know! XD 2 out of the 3 tests I did said he was. I'm not that bothered really, but yes, those tests are rather amusing and time-wastingly fun.
I think the only sure way of knowing if your character is a MS/GS is to ask for people's real opinions. Though it seems even just the way an author over-excitedly squees over their characters, or hardly speaks of them can also determine if they're a bit sue-ish too methinks.

I've been drawing since I was 8 but my drawing skills hasn't improved that much. They still look cartoony.

I can draw things from pictures and make them look realistic. It's just when I draw something original, it turns out in my style. And I used to hate my style
