A man who is an Olympian only by obligation, much of his time is tending to those who pray to them and tending to his bar, the Gates of Hell. It is in the realm just between the light and darkness, a place where both mortal and metahuman are equals, all the laws and ways of the world are left at the door.
There is much talk of how behind that seemingly passifist Dionysus lies a warrior who's skill and power matches the likes of Zeus [link] and Hera
[link] , the only ones to actually witness this fighting prowess and strength are the ones who break the strict rule of no violence in his bar.
