The rather abominal brother of Zeus [link] . In a battle against the being Anubis his Helm of Darkness was shattered to pieces forever lost, in retribution he had taken the Jackal-head god's own head, commanding Hephaestus to turn it into the new Helm of Sorrow. With it he has complete dominence over the dead souls using the very sorrow in their hearts against them to such a horrific degree.

He has no true alligance to either Zeus or his wife Hera [link] , while those two dilweeds play their little games with each other he regrettably has a full time gig (which Zeus by the way so charitably bestowed upon him) what with harboring the souls of the death and passing judgement on them. He doesn't care which of them will win their petty little war, come the climax he'll frickasee the winner...

In the meantime, he'll just have his fill of all the wayward souls his dark heart desires, business is afterall booming this decade what with the other gods messing with the mortal world.

Yeah, basically I made Hades into Anubis (sort of). I'd give him a schythe but that would have been to easy.

EDIT; Touched up his arm there, added a few missing bits to his design.
