ah I haven't been here for so long >.<. Love the perspective of this one. Your work is never repetitive, so many different angles and pov's yay! I'm always amazed at how well you suggest detail ^o^ *claps* hope the army isn't going too harsh on you. Make new friends =u=.

nice job fren~i relli kinda like how the colours seem to remind me of some fairy-esque sorta look, the warms are and cools are very well contrasted and i tink you have gotten that painterly look ~

The sky works... the degradΓ©e and contrast it makes with the ground and with constrution under floor is right... I don't understand what ~eutanesia is talking about

Honestly, I like this picture a lot, but of all things the description seems to detract from it... I had my own visualization of what this represented, and then Bam, description doesn't fit as well as my own thoughts.

Ignoring the description for now, though, the low detail level gives it a certain abstractness, the angle and the color draw the eye and add feel.

Before I read the description, I was thinking it was some sort of representation of a shallow, fake landscape, covering a high-tech industrial underbelly... the idea of which I liked.

Painter, uh?!.....you can see a big diffrence as far as the level of confidence with the tool...i like the results of painter ( by artist who use it solely) but because you are you...its still better than most could even come close to....
cant wait to see more!

The Sargent brush is a bit of a favourite actually. But then I've always been a fan of rough brushes.

ukitakumuki In reply to noceur [2005-06-07 00:23:24 +0000 UTC]

can you list a few brushes that are really fun? Would love to try them out.. im sick of those watery ones.. really makes painter feel much more of a simulation than it already is..

noceur In reply to ukitakumuki [2005-06-11 17:34:44 +0000 UTC]

Not really sure what you're looking for. The airbrushes are a real gag, hehe. The most amazing thing is that you can actually learn to work with them XD

Chalk is cool too.

Warhead82 [2005-06-06 20:44:31 +0000 UTC]

What brush did you use for this?

As for the painting, i like it, but i personally feel your photoshop work is much stronger.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ukitakumuki In reply to Warhead82 [2005-06-07 00:25:28 +0000 UTC]

Thank you The brush is in the description.

I feel that its not the software.. but rather what you have to visualise thats the key..

If i did this piece in photoshop, it would look 98% the same, with the exclusion of those nice strokes (i found them nice anyway..)

I still don't know why you dont post your work here [link] you could get alot of help and improve greatly

Cheers.
