Pretty amazing, isn't it? Assassins, Templars... all a matter of perspective. Their battle is one in a grey area, there are no absolute right or wrong. And from a different perspective, the Assassin Brotherhood ARE just like the Knights Templar Order, and vice versa.

I agree with you there! Other than the differences of their creed on each side, everything else is basically the same. Both search for precursor sites, CHECK. Both use precursor technology for their own gain, CHECK. Both kill each other to justify their own goals, CHECK (there's probably more similarities out there, but those are the ones that I can think of so far...).

Agreed, agreed and agreed. Used to be valuing freedom more than order, later vice versa, now looking at them balanced and unbiased. A/T feud needs balance. Both are opposite ends yet are also required for a society to be stable, like two sides of a coin.
By the way, how did you grabbed this GIF? What software did you use?

To make the gif I used FRAPS to manually take screenshots of the morphing logo from the game then put all those screenshots into the GIF animator.
