So - it's an ink, watercolour and GIMP (for bringing them together )

As for the picture - I wanted to make it since 500th chapter The fact that Tsunade's grandmother was an Uzumaki, and the first nine-tails jinchuriki has blown up my brains. It makes Tsunade Naruto's relative - they are from the same clan! And there's a high possibility that Kushina lived with Mito and Tsunade (where else?..).

I also wanted to draw a badass Tsunade .
Many people forget that Tsunade was a living legend for many generations, she was the most famous kunoichi - you remember, when Gai asked his team about their goals, Tenten said she wants to become as strong as the legendary Tsunade. So I wanted to draw her in her best time - a famous warrior, one of the Legendary sannin,

One more reason for this picture I found when has given me a link to an interview with Kishimoto [link] where he says that during the Pain's arc Tsunade had to be the first to punch Yahiko!Pain . He wanted to draw the battle between Tsunade and Pain!!! But he was persuated do do as we saw in manga. I was really really angry after that. Wanted to bring her some justice
