I actually like these two a lot. Even if they jump at me all the time when I am surfing. :<So, I was trying to make these fellas cute instead of cool, and like it somewhat. But I don't like the ink-job I did here...
I know that the jewels are really the eyes, but we can imagine that those other ones are eyes too. :3
Watermark because this is actually a good picture for a change. So I don't want it stolen.
I used Derwent Artists for this, and used my scanner options to make their colors more vibrant. *likes bright colors*

At least I heard it somewhere, I guess one pokedex-entry from the older games said that they were it's eyes.

I guess the eyes under the shell are for fooling the enemy to attack them, instead of the real eyes.

I looked around and now I'm getting the feeling that I should start drawing the tentacles a bit thinner. Oh, and great picture BTW.

The tentacles are hard to get right, I always wreck my head when I try to draw Tentacruel's tentacles in positions where every tentacle is not positioned the same way...
