Yeah. Again, a new idea. THis time, of mountain elven fighter pilots, who store inside them dark matter turned into energy, and when this energy is converted back, it creates around them a magical fighter jet.Therefore it is neither scifi nor high fantasy... Leaning more on fantasy, but it has more scifi looks. Haha.
I made it pink because my friend suggested it would be a good color. ;3
It's been a long time since I made anything worth putting up here, so Happy Late Easter!

If you'd happen to wonder, I first drew a pencil sketch, and colored it using Open Canvas 1.1 (some improvements were made to the sketch in Photoshop)

That game has some awesome designs, I liked the Serene design a lot, seeing from the character select screens.
Should update this design a bit, Im starting to prefer autonomous vechiles over mentally connected ones..!

Cool, I like the idea. Nice design. It looks like a biomech, like my Sahzamikie, which I should probably put up soon. Looks good, but maybe experiment with different colors. Pink would be extremely easy to see, kinda a disadvantage to the poor pilot. Question. Weapons? What are they? Where would they be? Some kinda cannon, under the wings? I remember an episode of an old anime, Escaflowne, in which it was briefly depicted as using the energists on its shoulders as weapons - they fired an energy beam. How would it land? I don't see any legs/landing gear. Or does it simply hover constantly? Fuel. Does it use the energy of its pilot to function? Does it draw energy from other sources, like light, or life energy from plants? Some things to think on. Overall, the pic itself is really cool. I like the tail a lot.

Yeah, I actually thought that since they are created on the spot by the pilot, they would be the color the pilot wants them to be. Maybe they should set some standards. 
These 'small' ones have one quickly chargeable weapon in their mouth, but the large station-like ones have weapons growing out of the black areas between the "plates."
It lands on the lower wings, and then disassembles.
It uses the energy stored in the dark matter, and therefore the pilot, who is bound to the matter. This means that if the unit is damaged, the pilot will also suffer. The least effects would be weakness of body, and worst death.
Most of this isn't scientifically correct, since the pilots are these elemental elven creatures who are able to convert matter into energy, and store it in their body (hair). Sounds cracky, doesn't it?

Sounds interesting. I'm glad that you'd already thought it through, though. ^^ As for stealth... hmm... well, any kind of army or whatever always has some kind of stealth unit. Perhaps there is a particular group of elves that are specially trained [or that just specialize themselves out of preference] for stealth?

I believe so.
There is one detail which I can't decide on: originally I thought that the ships are always the same shape, just because of the way they are, but then today I thought that since the dark matter is somewhat undetermined,(all the parts of the ship is just dark matter in different form, not unlike coal in it's various forms) can the ship actually be any shape, and they are just wyvern-shaped because they want to keep some order in their units?
Since the other armies have different themes, like fish or birds...
