Art trade withI really want to improve with backgrounds so this piece was me trying to create a moderately good background. xD I don't know how long it took but I kept on adding to it everyday until I was satisfied. I love this character! Deer are so underated, they are beautiful and mysterious animals that need more love. I hope you like it!

Your approaches to translate other characters into your style and make them fit. You stand out so much - and your way of shading using a black pen is such a nice detail c:

I love how your drew my stag, it was a good idea to place him to the side at the bottom, cutting off his legs. It is, as if he just wants to leave the place he is in, reaching forward and stepping outside of this picture. The red tree looks rather mysterious as well: Why is it red, why does it glow like that? Is it blood, soaking the ground? I think this can be linked to my birch story c:
I don't exactly now how to describe the mood the picture sets by now, but it makes me wonder!
