The Vorpal Project is an operation that aims to seize the power of the King of Legends said to still dwell within the country of Ithavoll. To make this happen, many homunculi - artificially-made organisms - were created...even though making homunculus warriors is globally illegal and goes against all scientific ethics.

The strongest of these homunculi, for the purpose of leading all combat, are known as Queens. Several of these Queens have been made, starting with the consciousness in program form (where they are fed information on super-computer levels) and then developing physical bodies.

What you see here is Black Queen, also known as Ebony. Her mind and soul have been in development four years before the story of Urban Legends begins, and the heroes happen to witness her "birth" in a new body. And she becomes a frightening foe during their struggles...

A naga-exclusive martial art developed by the naga of India, its name roughly translates to "naga's grasp". This makes use of a naga's four arms and their long, muscular body for a pressuring array of attacks from multiple directions and several grappling moves.

-= THEOTOXIN =-
Ebony is proficient in two different kinds of psionic powers. The first is the power to manipulate earthen matter - she can reshape sections of the ground below into large structures to strike or block, or even create stone from the dust around herself. The second power is called Theotoxin, a poison-based psionic power that generates toxins within others. Ebony's psionic toxin can be tailored to cause all sorts of symptoms, whether hindering or lethal. But what's truly scary about Theotoxin is that it overwrites any and all concepts of immortality - meaning, it's good for killing even godly beings. There may also be more beneficial applications of her poison psionics...

-= Idea: OUROBOROS, Distant Looping =-
- As with her previous life as Saint Jormungand, Ebony can generate portals on solid surfaces.

- These portals can travel quickly across surfaces as Ebony wills it, and she can tune her mind to see and hear things from any of her portal points.

- Of course, she can cast her mystic powers from these portals with the same high efficiency as from close-range.

- Ebony can't place portals in thin air, but her portal points can be guided across surfaces very quickly. With enough time, she could guide a portal point to the other side of the world - granted, that would still take a WHILE, like about 4 days straight.

- It's also possible for her to break conceptual "loops", like any form of immortality. This Distortion is considered like a poison

- A lot of homunculi get their bodies and souls developed from samples of existing DNA. Ebony was made using the fossilized remains of Saint Jormungand, who was a male. However, the Y-chromosomes couldn't be extracted intact, so the X-chromosomes that could be acquired safely were used to make a female homunculus - and from there, Ebony was augmented further to become one of the Queens.
- Many of the Vorpal Project's homunculi are themed after chess pieces. Queens leading combat can be drawn from the queen piece's ability to go an indefinite number of spaces in any of the eight directions.
- Her "birthplace" is in a place outside of the Mallash province called a Looking-Glass. It's a term given to a zone of intense interdimensional meshing, almost similar to an area irradiated from a nuclear explosion. Perhaps this dimensional energy is the reason that homunculi like Ebony have their bodies developed there...?
- That emblem in the background is the symbol of her Idea: Ouroboros.
- I'm trying once again to make a good mystical aura effect, made while studying the artwork for Black Mage and White Mage in Mario Hoops 3-on-3 (hard color lines with gradient effects applied within).
