Another early fan-character for Fighting is Magic v2. This one...isn't originally an expy of any of the mane six.

On that note, congrats to the Skullgirls Indiegogo drive! Now the two games will surely prosper!

-= BIO =-

Nephitaph is the princess of the long-dead kingdom of Hamunaptra. Back then, she exhibited a strong connection to the world beyond, giving her the talent of a soul shepherd. This was quite welcome, since souls lost in the desert are susceptible to all sorts of soul-eating demons - soul shepherds rescue such souls and guide them to the paradise beyond.

However, tragedy struck Hamunaptra, rendering all its inhabitants dead, including Nephitaph. However, her strong will kept her bound to this world. Rather than die, she held on in a mummified form. She elected to enter sleep until such a time that her powers of guidance would be necessary - which would soon be present-day.

Though her will is strong, her self-control is weak in her mummy form. So, she equips herself with one of Hamunaptra's most treasured relics - Khepri, a golden scarab that lets its symbiotic partner retain his/her form and sentience. Her knowledge over the centuries may have broadened, but her social customs have yet to catch up (almost like Marvel's Thor).

-= PLAYSTYLE =-

Nephitaph can call upon her mummy servants to assist in battle. There are four kinds of mummies to call upon - the average Mummy Knight, the long-range Mummy Priest, the swift Mummy Scout, and the beefy Mummy Bodyguard. Each action that the mummy performs (separate from Nephitaph) uses one Magic Unit. After the mummy is dismissed (or destroyed by the opponent), her Magic Units will refill gradually. All mummy commands are done with QCF and any attack button - meaning that each kind of mummy has three different moves.

Besides that, she can call upon a grabbing mummy from below at any distance, and Khepri can fire sunbeams (including a shorter version for command normals) and allow for flight (still kind of slow, as her mummies can act even while she's flying). Supers involve a rain of sunbeams (like Zero's Rekkoha, as per Marvel 3), a wave of rushing mummies (possibly like Parasoul's Motorcycle Brigade), and detaching Khepri for a while to assume her mummy form - has many zombie-like attacks and is immune to hitstun. Of course, in mummy form, she can still issue commands to her mummy servant with the QCF commands, but can't summon another one.
