Duration: approximately 5 hours and 20 minutes (over 2 days, 4 of which were done today  )
Medium: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B

Once again, end of the last day of this week, but I got it done...

Holy hell this was incredibly difficult. All those intricate necklaces!!! I had started out counting the individual beads of each necklace (which was very fun for the cowry and his earring), but then it just got too much.
His little tilt of the head was tricksy and I redid each eye 3 times to get the angle as best I could. His hair was a little confusing. It's like it was partially shaved on the forehead and was in the process of growing back.
I'm glad I had last week's practice on light and shading, it made that aspect of this one not as rough as I thought it would be.
I enjoyed the face-paint part of it and his nose and mouth were easy compared to his eyes.

So, my fingers are throbbing, fingers cramping, arm is aching and I feel like an absolutely crazy person for putting in 4 hours (over 5 hours) today alone, but I was determined to make this week's entry. Through sheer force of will I got it in on time...

I hope next week isn't as crazy so I can avoid last minute scrambling.

Someone put a fork in me, I'm done.

Overall

Vision

Originality

Technique

Impact

This is feeling like, it's telling us about how stuff was back in the day (Slave Trade a.k.a. Holocaust 1) and how some Blacks (NOT AFRICAN AMERICANS!!) got rich back in the day of the Slave Trade. It looks like it could use some touch ups to me because I am blind as heck (even with glasses). OF COURSE, it's original and Impact to me is about how blacks were back in the day. The technique is good enough for me at least, but for others, there own thoughts. So, this is a very good picture of a black. So, Until Then, Adios!

Thank you! It certainly was. Worth it, though.
